June 22, 2015
WHO & WHAT:
The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice will host the closing ceremonies for students completing its Pipeline for Promise program, which offers underserved students from local community colleges a free course during the summer months.
During the three-year program, the students enrolled in Pipeline for Promise learn about social work as a profession, time management, fiscal responsibility and other life skills that extend beyond the classroom.
