The founders of the newly formed xLAB will show off some of the interdisciplinary projects they are working on. The collaboration between Penn’s School of Engineering and Applied Science and School of Design uses the "Internet of things" to devise and deliver richer and more interactive entertainment experiences.

The talk is part of the Penn Science Café, a free public-lecture series presented by the School of Arts & Sciences and the Office of University Communications that takes science scholarship out of the lab for a night on the town. Each hour-long talk begins at 6 p.m. and is followed by an audience Q&A. Café events are free and open to the public. Seating is limited. Menu items will be available for purchase.
