Preliminary Hearing Date Set in PSU Cases

A preliminary hearing for Pennsylvania State University officials charged with perjury and other offenses for their roles in the child sex abuse scandal will start Monday, July 29 at the Dauphin County Courthouse. The hearing date is the same for all three officials - former President Graham B. Spanier, former athletic director Tim Curley and former vice president Gary Schultz. They are charged with perjury, failure to report suspected abuse, and related offenses in the child sex abuse case against former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, now in prison.
