University of Pennsylvania and PennDOT Team Up for Operation Safe Holiday

WHAT: Operation Safe Holiday kick-off

36th and Walnut streets

The University of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Philadelphia Police are joining to reach out to students and young adults to promote safe travel this holiday season. The University is participating in PennDOT-funded statewide enforcement and education to promote highway safety.

A 30-foot “DUI Memorial” trailer will be on site and open to the public to view and tour. The interior features a 25-foot wall printed with 1,000 names of DUI victims.
