Penn's 2013 Home Football Game Times Announced

Exactly 100 days from now, the University of Pennsylvania football team will begin another Ivy title defense. On Thursday, the team officially announced game times for each of the five home games in 2013.

The Quakers will open their 137th season under the lights at historic Franklin Field when they host Lafayette for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 21. The only night game at the nation's oldest collegiate football stadium this year will also mark the first game on Franklin Field's new SprinTurf.

Two weeks later, the Red and Blue will open their Ivy League schedule with a 1 p.m. matchup against Dartmouth on Family Weekend, while Penn's matchup with Yale on Oct. 26 will also kick off at 1 p.m.

Homecoming kickoff is slated for noon on Nov. 9 when the Quakers take on arch rival Princeton for the 105th time. Then the season finale against Cornell will begin at 1 p.m. and mark the 120th all-time meeting in the fifth-most played rivalry in college football.

Anyone with a University of Pennsylvania issued ID can gain admittance to home football games free of charge, and bring up to three guests at no additional charge. Included are any faculty or staff, hospital workers, Penn Police and Allied Barton security guards with their Allied Barton ID cards. For those working outside of the Penn family, low-cost season tickets will be available in the upcoming weeks.
