Penn Will Be "Making History" as It Kicks Off an Ambitious Fund-Raising Campaign Saturday Evening

WHO: Dr. Amy Gutmann, president of the University of Pennsylvania, will speak to the Penn community, joined by members of the Penn Board of Trustees and Penn student leadership.  The Penn Band, student singing groups, a sound and laser show and much more will highlight the event.  More than 2,000 participants are expected.

WHAT: Dr. Gutmann will kick off Making History, the University's largest-ever fund-raising campaign designed to spur research, add new facilities, attract even more exceptional faculty and connect Penn and University City with Philadelphia in dynamic new ways.

WHERE: College Green, near 34th and Walnut streets on the Penn campus
