The compelling panel discussion will take place in conjunction with the release of Social Policy and Social Justice, an academic volume edited by Jackson and published by Penn Press.

The event will also feature Joseph Watkins, executive vice president of ElectedFace.com. He has served as a political analyst for MSNBC, CNBC and Al Jazeera and was a former White House aide to United States President George H. W. Bush.

Social Policy and Social Justice is the final component of the SP2 Penn Top 10 initiative – www.PennTopTen.com – a multimodal initiative launched in 2016, designed to educate, enlighten, and empower voters and policymakers from all walks of life leading up to the 2016 presidential election and beyond.

The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a small reception.
