Maureen Rush Honored by Police Athletic League

PHILADELPHIA — Maureen Rush, vice president for public safety at the University of Pennsylvania, will be honored by the Philadelphia Police Athletic League at its annual awards dinner on Tuesday, May 11, at 5:30 p.m., in the Center City Sheraton at 17th and Race streets.

The 2010 PAL Award Dinner and Silent Auction will honor Rush’s contributions to the organization for nearly a decade.  Others to be honored are, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter and Denis O’Brien, the president and CEO of PECO.

Rush joined PAL’s Board of Directors in 2002 and now serves as its secretary.  She served as chair for the 2008 PAL Awards Dinner, the first one to reach the $1 million mark in fundraising revenue.
