Penn Leads the Vote Students to Hold Election Day March and Rally Nov. 2

WHAT:        

Election Day “Get out the Vote” March and Rally

             

WHERE:            

College Green, University of Pennsylvania campus

 

WHEN:           

Tuesday, Nov. 2, starting at 4 p.m.

 

 Penn Leads the Vote, a nonpartisan student organization at the University of Pennsylvania, will hold an Election Day march and rally on College Green.  Approximately 75 students clad in 2010 PLTV T-shirts will join Penn cheerleaders and marching band members to help get out the student vote.  

Penn President Amy Gutmann and PLTV students will march in a procession to her polling place on Locust Walk at 4:30 p.m.  
 
PLTV student leaders will operate a “war room” from 5 to 8 p.m. in Houston Hall calling registered student voters encouraging them to vote.
