Dr. Lustick will address the topic "Bioterrorism: Looming Threat or Convenient Political Construct" at 10:30 a.m.  Following his presentation he will participate in a panel discussion with Ms. Garrett and Dr. Bush beginning at 11:20 am.

Dr. Lustick is a scholar of American foreign policy, Middle East politics and ethnopolitical conflict.  He is associate director of the Solomon Asch Center for the Study of Ethnopolitical Conflict at Penn and has been a consultant on Middle East affairs and national security issues for President Carter and every administration since then.

His presentation is part of a conference for physicians and healthcare professionals and others interested in the threat of bioterrorism and governmental response and public policy related to bioterrorism.
