German President Joachim Gauck to Speak at University of Pennsylvania Oct. 6

WHAT:           Public lecture on shared U.S.–German values

WHEN:           Tuesday, Oct. 6, 11 a.m.

WHERE:         10:30 a.m. in the Hall of Flags in Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce St.

On Oct. 6, University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann and Perry World House will host President Joachim Gauck for a public lecture,“Freedom – Our Shared Bond.”

The event is free, but pre-registration is required at http://GermanPresidentatPenn.eventbrite.com. Doors will open at 9 a.m.; no admittance after 10:15 a.m. Government issued photo identification is required, and large bags are prohibited.
