During Kishore Mahbubanis 33 years as a civil servant, he has served in the Singapore Foreign Service, was Singapore's ambassador to the U.N twice between 1984 and 2004 and was president of the U.N. Security Council in 2001 and 2002.

He is the author of "Can Asians Think?" and of "Beyond the Age of Innocence: Rebuilding Trust Between America and the World."
