Barry Scheck of the Innocence Project to Speak at Penn

As part of Penn’s 2012-13 academic theme “Year of Proof,” Barry Scheck will talk about the nature of proof.

Scheck co-founded the Innocence Project in 1992 with his colleague Peter Neufeld to help exonerate people who were wrongly convicted in the criminal-justice system.  The organization also works to reform the system through legislative and procedural reforms.
