Message from the President
Many parts of our world have suffered staggering loss of life and utter devastation in the wake of recent natural disasters. Hurricane Katrina has been followed by flooding and mudslides in Guatemala, floods and earthquake in China, and a major earthquake that struck Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
While the magnitude of these events is difficult for us to absorb and comprehend, our hearts go out to members of our Penn family who have suffered personal loss. If you have been directly affected by any of these natural disasters, please remember that Penn has support networks ready to assist you.
I am proud of all that our Penn family has done to support relief efforts in the wake of the tsunami and Hurricane Katrina, I know that you will continue your efforts to help millions of people rebuild their shattered lives wherever disaster strikes.
