Excellence in Graduate Teaching Reception

Maggie Nelson

Scholar and poet Maggie Nelson reads. Nelson is the author of several poetry collections, including “The Argonauts,” which won a National Book Critics Circle Award in 2015. A conversation with her will follow on April 30 at 10 a.m.

University of Pennsylvania.

Marinov is an oceanographer and climate modeler. Together with lab members, she runs and analyzes large climate models to predict future changes in climate, with a particular focus on the role of the oceans in the global heat and carbon cycle.
